While the people seemed friendly inside i was very dissapointed to find that out naan bread was about the size of my hand. All other Indian restaurants are very generous with their naan but these are just tiny. Unfortunate.
Curries to Go. I get take away once or twice a week from here since it’s close by and usually stick to curry with 2 naan breads, and indian rice. With a drink, all that puts you around 20-23. I’m always full with all that, I suppose it would be a meal you can share between 2 people but I can eat it all or save a bit for leftovers. Most of the time when it comes to Indian food I stick to the butter chicken which is usually always tasty but I tried the lamb rogan josh last night and was really surprised how yum that was! I got recommended the kofta so I will give that a go next time. I believe they serve these main curries at night past 5pm and during the day is more of a cafe / lunch menu. They have the night menu on their website now.The staff has always been friendly. I am not a big coffee drinker anymore and only had just a normal coffee here once to try and stay up to finish some work and it tasted fine, no complaints on that.
A little pricey for what is really food court style curries. We had the chickpea and veg, madras chicken and vindaloo beef, all quite nice, a little salty and not enough spice in the vindaloo but tasty. The naan bread was out of a packet though and that was a real let down. If the curries were $5-$7 cheaper I would have been satisfied. Can’t argue with free delivery though. Worth a try but need to manage your expectations 🙂
Good food, horrible coffee. I came in on a lunch time on a Friday and the staff seemed very overwhelmed. Got a meditteranean flute (awesome) hedgehog slice (also awesome) and flat white (horrible). If I hadn’t seen the coffee brewed in front of me I would’ve suspected it was instant. Maybe they should switch to a different brand of beans?
Amazing beef vindaloo, we ordered on opening night a while ago. Pleasantly suprised!!!!
