First timers to Jamaican cuisine and we weren’t disappointed! Entree was tasty (Caribbean sticky & jerk BBQ chicken wings), mains were also enjoyable (Braised Lamb & Jerk Chicken Boucane). Desert consisted of Sweet Potato Pudding & a Chocolate Chilli Fondant .Sizes for all was adequate.Customer service was fantastic.Very good for a change in cuisine. There’s no reason why we wouldn’t be back!Enjoyed.

An impromptu Friday night dinner brought us to ka’ribbean corner with our 3yo and 6month old. We had been wanting to try this place for a while. We were interested in their Street food menu so we tried the Jamaican patties, bokit a side of fries and dessert. We found the prices reasonable and thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the food. The Jamaican patties (similar to a curry puff or empanada) were very tasty with a unique spice/curry mix. They packed a bit of heat which was good. The Bokits were similar to a hamburger, but again with a unique creole twist. The fried bun itself was sooo tasty and actually very light and fluffy to eat. It had beef (brisket I think?) With a spicy creole sauce, lettuce and tomato. The chips were nice and crispy (although my personal preference is for a fatter chip). Then dessert– a pleasant surprise chili chocolate fondant with allspice ice-cream. Very decadent and cooked just right. I love cloves so the spice ice-cream was the perfect accompaniment. In addition, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning to try more Caribbean delights. Thanking you 🙂

Despite the mixed reviews, we went ahead to try this Caribbean restaurant. Not that I ever eaten or travel to Caribbean but the foods are not to my liking at all. Small portion but big price.

Slow, average, no atmosphere.Impromptu birthday dinner here 28/08/2017 as it was almost the only place open on a Monday night in Victoria Park that wasnt a pub. Service was so slow, despite there being only 4 tables to wait on. 1 girl was new so didnt understand all of the menu, but was slow to initiate ordering, didnt suggest drinks when others in the group arrived and didnt come to refill drink orders during the sitting. Food arrived and it was average. The fitout of the place was a bit unfinished, the music played in a loop, the same playlist of the reggae that was promoted was maybe 8 songs on repeat. Dessert was overpriced, I had the sweet potato pudding, it was nice but it had obviously been reheated and not cooked at the time, and a measly icy ice-cream was on top. I did not finish it. Based on this experience I would not go back or recommend when there are so many other places to try just not on a Monday.

Delicious food! We especially love the sticky wings, the goat curry, the jerk chicken, and dishes are served with a beautiful fragrant coconut rice – yum! Cool tropical coloured funky decor too, and good service.

Terrible. Where can I start. When we asked the waiter where our third dish was, he basically said ‘no u didn’t order that, I read the order back to u’ implying that we lied. Worst service I’ve ever experienced, food was average at best. Do not go!

Amazing! The restaurant dcor was rustic yet classy, and the reggae music just set a mellow mood. The food was sophisticated yet authentic Caribbean in flavour. The menu had offerings for all palates and the service was excellent. Definitely a must visit place
