Kailis is not your average fish and chips bar so be prepared to pay more but their food is definitely more refined and memorable. The fish was fresh and chunky with the ideal layer of crisp batter. The salt and pepper calamari was a little bland although nicely presented.
This big bustling cafe smacks is authenticity with all things fishy. It has that Greek feel, and Greeks know fish. I chose grilled fish and chips with orange rocket salad. The Spanish mackerel was totally dry. The salad was undressed, the chips saved the day. Disappointing.
