Created with New York style and flair in mind, @NookByNiche is a relaxed and intimate space, where innovative selections of food and drinks will be sure to meet your expectations. Our favourite was the tenderloin fillet , it was thick but quickly melted at the tip of the tongue. Glossy rosemary jus was gorgeous and we especially loved the mushroom gratin . There was a decent amount of butter in there and its richness paired extremely well with the cut of beef.Pork croquettes were fried till golden while the filling remained moist inside. The beer braised pork was especially yummy, juicy and boozy. For the health-conscious peeps, there was kale in there somewhere.Seafood paella was unfortunately not up to scratch. It was kind of in between, not creamy enough to be a risotto but way too wet and clumpy to be a paella. We enjoyed the fresh and generous amount of seafood and chorizo but not the rice.If you’re after some quirky and exceptional cocktails to quench your thirst , Nook has plenty of those! You’d be lucky if Marcus happens to be there . He’s the friendliest guy around, makes the best drinks and his R&B playlist is littt!I normally don’t like tequila-based cocktails but this guy < Drop It Like It's Hot > had so much character ! The tequila wasn’t overpowering while strawberry and watermelon made it extremely easy to drink. I especially loved the chilli salt around the rim, it added texture and some oomph to an otherwise quite girly cocktail. For gin lovers out there, you’d wanna get a whole jug of < Let Me Blow Ya Mind > before you knew it . It was a soft, tender and sweet concoction, heroing fragrant elderflower and refreshing coconut water. The gin was smooth and happy to take the back seat but somehow still managed to steer the drink as a whole in the right direction. instagram.com
