One of our favourite places to go; great to visit your hotel Pinky, once again, our crew of 10 very much enjoyed the food and escpecially me as, once again I went for the chicken breast stuffed, mushrooms, feta, spinach, on risotto cake, pesto sauce for $ 29.00, (5 Star dish), please never taake it off the menue.
The Oxford does what it does very well and that’s being a pub. I come here often for pizza, chips and wine in the beer garden, which is just lovely. It’s very child friendly (lots of highchairs), has a nice welcoming feel and the staff and service are great.
We came to the Oxford Hotel for lunch and had a pretty ordinary meal. My partner ordered the seafood pizza which was soggy, and I ordered the Cajun chicken salad which was mostly meat with very little salad. The chicken was over cooked and there was absolutely no (read:zero) Cajun spices on it. Not sure how it could be considered a Cajun salad at all, it was very plain. The up-side was the onion rings which were yummo (but please serve with aioli, not ketchup). We dined in the alfresco area which was really a lovely area sheltered from the elements, while still being outside. Weve been to the oxford before for functions and the food has been quite nice, not sure if this was just a bad day in the kitchen.
