Id heard rave reviews about The Leaf from many vegan and veggie friends, so booked quickly when they advertised a Fathers Day buffet dinner special. Utterly disappointed with the food. Despite having been advertised, the buffet had little variety: the korma and butter vegetable curries were virtually identical, and everything on offer was stodgy, greasy and bland. To make matters worse the food was lukewarm at best; cold naan breads and onion bhajis are never appealing. The service was decent, though, and I love the concept. I wonder if the buffet is just a miss, and ala carte is the way to go.

Mixed feelings. The food was very good, very well priced and tasted great. It was very busy, however (a Friday night) and the noise was like being in a crowded nightclub. Very uncomfortable. There was also a private function happening in the upstairs section, which added to the noise, plus a group of small boys spent the whole time running up and down the stairs and along the corridor to the toilets, getting in the way of the wait staff, who looked harassed and as uncomfortable as we felt. Id go back for the food as it was truly delicious and great value, but I would go on a midweek night or during the day to avoid the noise levels.
We own this restaurant and love the food. It’s vegan and vegetaraian but meat eaters won’t miss meat after trying our food. Check for yourself. Thanks
