So terrible service and a male manager here. What we ordered is only one mud crab, they gave us two, and they said they thought we were not enough to have only one mud crab for our table. Excuse me???So next time when I go to shop to buy a mobile phone, sales could tell me that one mobile phone is not enough for me, I need to buy two phones? Unbelievable. And they said now mud crab was cheap, only one hundred twenty…..Cannot believe that’s what they said that to their customers. Then, we asked for refund, first time they only checked if we had used that dish or not.And we ordered one big steam rice bottle, but they charge us for 9 people, steam rice worth $22.5? Never go there again. One star is enough for them.Ps: check my invoice and table photo, you will know what I said is 100% true.

This is the second time , I am going there and they did not disappoint . I think after yummy house bbq in Winthrop fiasco , this was a welcome change . I paid $78 and got much more than I did at yummy house and that says a lot .Their food was nicely prepared . Roast pork had the crispy , the bbq buns were juicy and succulent . The porridge was properly done. Nice smooth congee. They had some interesting looking buns which you dont normally find . The one thing was the food did come out slow especially when it gets busy .but overall its good enough for me

Heard that this restaurant employed a new chef. The must try dishes are: chicken feet, pan fried pork buns, prawns dumplings. The servicing staffs are excellent. The manager, kelvin, seems to be well experienced. The restaurants seatings are pretty lacks. Done early or else to miss out on beautiful dim sum.

We got there at 10am for dim sum to avoid the crowd. Since it was early, the trolley wasnt ready and therefore they took our orders first. It was pointless since what we ordered took so long that it came after the trolley anyway. The food is okay and have to admit that the place has improved.

My experience dining here was just OK. It was a Thursday night and the place was buzzing. Service was a bit slow so we had to try hard to get the wait staff’s attention to order. The menu looked exciting, placed our order, only to have 2 dishes turned down because they didn’t have the ingredients. That was a disappointing. We ended up ordering pretty normal dishes like sizzling chicken tofu which wad nice but it was an underwhelming experience overall and we didnt get to try the interesting dishes. Prawn with vermicelli noodles was pretty good – large prawns in noodles with a nice flavour.

The manager there has a very bad service concept, not suggest customer they order too much at all, just try to make you over order! Will never go back a restaurant like this!

3.3 rating Didn’t take many photos here. We had an assortment of dishes between 7 adults with plain rice :1) fried rice (didn’t try but I’m sure it was typical)2) Peking duck – not bad but cucumbers were sliced really weird (see picture , they didn’t remove the middle soggy bits ) and they served sliced leeks ( not spring onions) which were very hard to bite/chew (probably the worst condiment I have had with Peking duck). Luckily the pancakes were thin and freshly steamed. I wld prefer Peking duck next door at chin noodle house3) san choy bow lettuce cups were also ok.not the best but ok4) duck soup was good (pictured)5)sizzling Jap tofu was good 6) beef brisket was soft and tasty7) snow pea shoots stirfried with garlic was my favourite 8) fried spare ribs with garlic and nuts was interesting , I liked it.9) salted duck egg fried squid was good 10)complimentary watermelon slices was good (u get watermelon and slice oranges if y ordered snow crab or higher valued food , I think) 11) 1 fried banana and 3 fried ice cream and 1sago was ordered to share – ok and typical It was $34.90 per person . A little bit pricey for ok food. Wld have been cheaper if we didn’t have dessert of course. Not in our neighborhood so will only go for occasional meet ups only.
