The food here is O.K, however I have a real problem with the staff at this place. I witnessed the boss/manager abuse one of his trainee staff members last week and he seems to have an attitude I find quite intolerable. It is rude to have staff members shout across the store in another language and I found the whole experience unpleasant. I will not be returning, which is a real shame because the fish and chips here is of a high quality.
Amazing!!. Best fish and chips in town!! Absolutely go here and the customer service is great, staff always very friendly and polite. Food is 10/10
Meh. Crap fish, crap chips, expensive, had to wait over an hour instead of the so-called 10min.complete joke for nearly 50 bucks between 2 pieces of fish and chips
Nothing to brag about…. Calamari rings were dry and tough, overall the meal was basic and worse then the competitors. This aside, I actually witnessed the owner abuse the young staff he has working for him. ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE! This guy deserves to go out of business after what I’ve seen… Scum.
Decent fish and chips. We have been eating fish and chips from Lesmurdie seafoods for a couple of years. Previous owners put us off some time back…but a couple of years ago we gave them another go and were very pleasantly surprised. The current owners have been reliable and we order every couple of months with no complaints. Decent selection of fish and right amount of batter crunch and to date no fish has tasted wiffy or old. My wife has a good nose/palate for identifying old oil and hasn’t spotted old oil to date.

Can be pretty hit and miss but tonight’s chips were so burnt it prompted me to do my first ever review. Packed by the owner too( I think) so the no care factor is a concern
