Placed an order on the phone waited the 35 minutes of time that was told until I can pick it up. Only to arrive and Find that the staff member had failed to pass the order on to the kitchen to start making. so then had to wait more time in store as pizza was being made to still be charged full price of pizza.

Great relaxed atmosphere and yummy pizza. Lots of great topping combinations. Kids love coming here too. Tiny bit of a wait as it’s popular on a Sunday night

Well this was a totally unexpected event and we turned up with 7 and got a table immediately. Excellent large servings to satisfy the most insatiable hunger. Everyone was amazed at the servings and tasty as.

After reading a ton of awesome reviews friends and I thought we’d give it a try! The pizza was good, though more than once my toppings kept becoming seperate from my pizza base while I tried to eat it which was a little annoying. Nonetheless the pizza was good, despite the toppings I would go back.

Baffled. After reading the many glowing reviews, I was excited to try out Village Kitchen as I was keen to find a good local spot for casual dinners out. We were welcomed in a lovely way by the gentleman at the counter and were told to expect a 40 minute wait for our order of 2 x pizzas and 2 x pastas. We were assured the garlic bread would be out rapidly. I was happy to wait this amount of time as we were pre-warned. 25 minutes later, we were still waiting for the garlic bread. After chasing it up, it was obvious the order had been misplaced. Thinking that we would only have a short wait for the mains, I was mistaken. The clock reached an hour and we were still waiting. Again I had to chase up the order. The gentleman in charge was lovely and very apologetic and managed to get the mains to us 10 minutes later. Was it worth the wait? No. The pizzas were nice but certainly did not send me into the waves of ecstacty as suggested by other reviewers. The pasta was undercooked and stodgy. Village Kitchen is obviously focussed on its takeaway side of business to the detriment of anyone wishing to dine in – I certainly won’t be back.
