Two given as ur staff are super friendly and your greeter tonight was so lovely.The food is lacklustre. Quality is very low and seems like it’s been stored for time. Veggies seem like some had rotted but were cooked anyway.Steaks and mash were cold and we had to sit and wait for it to be heated up again while one of our party had his meal.When we gave feedback waitress didn’t seem like she gave a damn as it happens so frequently tonight 3 customers complained.Smarten up buy good produce throw out old stock instead of using it and get some decent heat lamps or learn to have food prepared at same time for a table.

We arrived pretty late for lunch at around 2:00 and there were 3 front of house staff on. While we seated ourselves and had to order our drinks and meals at the bar for them to be brought out to the table, we noticed another couple come in a few moments later who received a friendly greeting and full table service.After great reviews for both the ribs and burgers at Bitez, we thought we were onto a sure fire winner with T trying the prime steak burger and B giving the pork ribs a crack (pun intended).B: $18 ribs!! I can never go past ribs on the menu and generally expect to pay $35+ for a half rack, so to find $18 pork ribs is practically a miracle. Overall the ribs were tender and tasty, but quite gristly which was disappointing. But still.. They were $18! The side salad was simple and surprisingly enjoyable to someone who avoids salad at all costs.T: On the other hand, I am sad to say that the burger was a disappointment from the start. Although in my haste I didn’t specify how I wanted the steak, I was hoping the default would be medium rare not a very generous well done. The steak was a fairly thin cut and was falling out of both sides of the burger. Sometimes a poorly cooked steak in a burger can be redeemed by the other ingredients but this was not the case. There was probably less than a teaspoon of blue cheese and the lettuce & cheddar were fairly unremarkable as well. Couldn’t finish it.Price: A burger, ribs, one beer and a fire engine cost us $54 and was more than enough. We’d argue that while the burger was very poor value the ribs were great value.Environment: 3/5Service: 2.5/5Speed: 3.5/5Food: 2/5 (T) 3.5/5 (B)Value: 2/5 (T) 4/5 (B)The final word (B): $18 RIBS!! Probably wouldn’t go back though.
Food was amazing, staff were great and an awesome place to chill. Would definitely recommend the steak or the ribs! Chips were amazing, cocktail menu was massive and the Bite’Z Island Iced tea we had was perfect. Definitely recommend!
Thumbs Up!!. Had dinner here while in town for the night. Had the battered fish n chips. BEST fish n chips I have had in years! Great size and taste. My friend got the burger and felt the same 🙂
