Recently had dinner here with a bunch of friends. Simply put a great place to eat, good food, great service. The place is small, so may be a good idea to make reservations.
Booked dinner at this restaurant, when we arrived it was pretty empty, we were basically the first ones. There was only one server and she politely took our drink orders, which arrived straight away. The entrees however took long to arrive, almost 30mins and we were the only ones for a while until 4 other couples arrived. Hubby’s kilpatrick oysters were unedible which was such a pity for the price. The garlic bread I orders was way too oily. Our mains were roast pork with chips and veggies. This was ok nothing much to write home about, just the normal almost pub food like with chunks of veggies. My little girl ordered chicken bites and chips but instead got fish and chips which she did not touch coz she does not like fish. I didn’t have the heart to send it back coz we had waited too long for the meals to come and there was only one server still who was running around to take everyone’s orders. Overall not impressed.

You cannot compare this to tides same price but quality food cooked while you wait and friendly staff The difference was like this place had a cook and Tides has a Chef
7 Diners Group. We are a group of 7 who regularly dine together at different restaurants and we all agreed that the Emerald Room Restaurant was definitely one of the better one’s in Geraldton. The food, value for money and service was very good. We will certainly be dining there again.
Loved it. Had the chance to sample this restaurant, all food was beautifully presented, staffvery friendly and attentive , value for money , will be going back to this restaurant For sure
