Very horrible food. But Friendly staff. Who ever said the asian food is nice. Probably never eaten real asian food. Tried the fried rice, laksa, curry, asian veg and carbonara. All can’t make it. Not even the carbonara. And the asian veg is a total joke. The only thing that taste edible is the prawn tempura. If you need asian food i guess coles instant noodle is a better choice.
Horribly disappointing and expensive food. Ordered the duck spring rolls, fried rice and asian vegetables. Spring rolls were packed with noodles but not a whiff of duck. Could not be seen nor tasted. The fried rice was gluggy, overcooked and tasteless. Was basically rice with sauce tipped on top with a few pieces of carrot and peas. It wasn’t even mixed properly so there were bing chunks of soggy plain rice throughout the dish. I dunno how carrot, capsicum and red onion are considered Asian style vegetables. Two pieces of book choy total. Vegetables seemed to be either boiled or steamed to an inch of their life and were soggy and tasteless. Also drowned in sauce. Overall, tasteless, soggy, unpalatable and expensive food. Ended up having a few mouthfuls and we chucked out two big containers still full of food. It was just awful!
Stumbled across this place looking for some take away in Margaret river .. Ordered the cajun squid, stuffed prawns and chows fried rice .. smelt absolutely amazing, unfortunately it didn’t taste so. The squid was tough and not spicy , the fried rice was stodgy and we struggled to figure out what the prawns were stuffed with (they were OK) .. very strange all in all and dissapointing :/ Only real positive was the service , polite and prompt !
Chow, plus a bottle of red wine and a cosy fire is definitely the best way to spend a Margaret River night. This place serves beautiful food and the service is always fantastic. Try the laksa and the chicken fajita special, they’re amazing!
