Being an Indian, I had to visit this restaurant as I start craving for Indian food once in 2-3 days. I was on a weekend trip to Margaret River and visited this place. I found the Food very average, not too great as compared to other Indian Restaurants there. The Ambience was royal as the name ‘Maharaja’ suggests, it had an authentic look. 2/5 for Food3/5 for Ambience
RATING IS 0 ZERO FLAVOUR. ZERO TASTEJust had Chicken Makani and I can honestly say this was THE WORST curry I have ever eaten. Absolutely no flavour whatsoever. Just tasted like thick watered down tomato purée. Very very disappointing. Was so looking forward to it. Won’t be returning again
We checked the opening times and went down, but it was closed with no sign explaining why. They had opening times listed on the door, and yet were closed (we were that Saturday 5.30pm and door said it opened 4 or 5). Really poor service not to even have a sign saying they were closed for the evening!
One if the best Curry houses!!We went here for an excellent meal which was cooked hot and spicy as requested. Beautiful garlic Nan bread and Paneer Masala. Will definitely return and has great service!!
Great Food. I went to Maharaja on a Thursday night using their mid-week dinner voucher. The food was really good, as were the portions and service. I would highly recommend dining here.
