Surprised at how popular this place was on a Saturday night. Good vibes with decent music, solid menu and an equally impressive drink list. Would recommend if in the area even if not staying at the resort
First time in Margaret river with a friend. So looking forward to coming back and trying some more. We shared both plates and it was delicious. Friendly staff too, makes it better when it’s your first time experiencing a town. Sat outside and it was nice.
We visited the river hotel last night to enjoy a birthday meal for my partner. We had beef croquettes for starters, and then fish and chips and a scotch fillet for mains. The croquettes were delicious and not too heavy. The fish and chips were fresh and tasty, the batter a bit thick but still nice (and their salad dressing – AMAZING). The scotch was slightly under my MR request but was so tender I didn’t mind! Service was efficient and friendly and good selection of wines. The restaurant has a very relaxed feel and they played a great playlist of tunes. Would definitely recommend.
