Ramen was great and my partners honey chicken was also good, nice and cheap and felt very welcomed. Will be back for sure ! Totally recommend
Just amazing!! A place you want to visit again and again knowing you will get a delicious pack of freshly made sushi or a bowl of rice or noodle of your favourite. I really like the friendly staff, especially the busy chef hidden in the kitchen but always takes his time to say thank you to every single customer when they leave.
The portion hasn’t shrunk since years ago, although there’s a small increments on pricing, it’s always the place to me when you’re wanting a good lunch. The increase is variety and good selection of ramen dishes, they have make their mark among Japanese eatery. Yes, I always give good review, but blue jasmine had earn it with honest food and friendly staff (best of all, good pricing!)
Favourite Japanese in Maylands! Local and super convenient. Not really for dining in but for take-away, it’s a guilty pleasure. I have always had good experiences coming here dealing with the staff and the chef even says good bye and thank you. The pork gyoza is my favourite but haven’t had a bad dish here.
From the outside looks underwhelming but the ramen is some of the best in Perth! My friends and I are pretty snobby with our ramen as well. I walked past in a bunch of times and am so glad I finally gave it a try. Since then I’ve pretty much give every week!
I’ve always been suspicious of Chinese owners trying to pass of as Japanese and selling Japanese fare that is very sino-ized. And that’s why I didn’t patronize this place earlier for years. Recently with the rain pelting down I went in to eat and was very pleasantly surprised and ended up kicking myself. It’s Japanese-run and I liked the Chicken Katsu-don. Will give the ramen a try next.
Nothing much from the outside but since I gave this a go it’s become my #1 midweek take away place. I’m confused by the Asian fusion and it’s definitely more Japanese than Chinese. The katsu chicken Don has never failed to disappoint me. So cheap and the lady/owner is adorable.
