Food was horrible, everything looked like they were pre cooked and was just reheated before giving. The sweets seem to be stocked from many days as they were very stale. The place itself is very dirty and not maintained well. They shouldn’t even be in the business, never going again.
Had a chicken briyani there and it was the usual trick – bits of curried chicken thrown in with some passable fragrant rice. It was okaaay but certainly not worth the $17 charged. Why do people do this – if you’re too lazy to practice your craft then don’t put that food on the menu.
This is the only place in Perth which makes awesome Amritsari Naan. Feels like we are eating in India. Nice sweet selection and very well priced.Best Paratha’s in Town. Keep it up guys
We love going to this restaurant for amritsari kulchas and cholle bhature. Taste is very authentic at reasonable price. Staff is also very good. Keep up the good work
Hearty Punjabi n Indian food! It’s a tiny restaurant tucked away 5mins from Maylands train station but the all weekend chat specials are one of my favourites. It’s freshly made and price ranges from $5 (aloo pronthe – yum) to around $12 for the chaats. Following our meals, we always finish off with masala chai n sweets (which are made fresh – one of the best I’ve had in Perth). I am Indian myself and take it from me this place is a must visit for authentic Indian food. I have introduced it to lots of my friends n they have loved it too. Took 1/2 star off coz it gets a little hot in there so maybe they need to replace their aircon.
Tried here after its reopening. And it was absolutely delicious for the price you pay. We had the Bhindi Masala which was fresh, tasty and not overly oily. Absolutely delicious. Also had the Kofta which was tasty too (sauce was a little runny for my liking). So glad this local joint has reopened after struggling to find a decent curry place nearby.
