This is an old family run business that was there when Noah need to get vittles for the ark. And they hadn’t changed much since. Love or hate it. It is what it is. I like the apple pie from time to time. If you love coffee don’t do it, go next door to Milkd for that. Service is friendly and chatty on occasion. The place needs a refit and inspiration so badly it’s almost funny.
Not Impressed. After waiting five minutes at the front counter, waiting to be served, a man finally came to serve me. I asked for a coffee and he could barely hear me, making me repeat my order.There was on chocolate eclair left in the cabinet, which I was also going to get but because it took so long to serve me, a bunch of office girls came in and the fat one got the eclair I wanted.Not impressed with this place at all and wo t be back.
Fresh and good value. I bought a Chocolate Torte and a Strawberry Torte for work morning tea (it was my birthday). The baker gave me a small discount as I bought two cakes and it was my birthday. Both were delicious but my favourite was the chocolate one. Light fresh chocolate sponge with layers of good custard, all covered in a chocolate icing that was slightly hard and not oversweet. The Strawberry cake was more complex and also very much enjoyed by my workmates. The baker offered to put an inscription on the cakes but I didn’t require it. I’m heading back for more very soon, certainly sooner than my next birthday!
Fresh and Delicious. I bought a chocolate Torta and apple slice this morning from the Pattisserie for a staff morning tea. Both were really fresh, moist and delicious! Everyone enjoyed the cake and the slice and I will definitely come back in the future either just for a treat for myself or to order cakes for special occasions. I will also be referring to my friends! The prices are reasonable too and it was open at 7am!
Love the custard tarts. The food in the warmer is cold at times. Always friendly service.
