We had the set menu that was advertised on special for $22ph, 6th person free. The lemon chicken was great, the fried rice was good, the sweet and sour chicken was okay, the satay beef was not good. They didn’t have green tea, which was an unwelcome surprise. The service was good, although that might have been because there weren’t many people there. It was good value for the price.
First time here – we decided to give the Chinese New Year Banquet a go – meal was nice but nothing special, had better elsewhere – everyone agreed overpriced at $50 ph. Suggest better value just ordering from regular menu.
I’ve been going to the Lee Palace for years and it’s still the best Asian takeaway around. Have always found the service prompt and the staff are always helpful. I’m a vegan, so a bit fussy about food. Have never been disappointed by my experience of this venue. My partner eats anything and always enjoys a meal from the Lee Palace.
Authentic, cosy Chinese restaurant in Melville. The space is a little outdated but the delicious eats make up for it! Ordered one of four banquets for a party of six and oh my – so much food. Started out with the prawn toast and sweet corn soup. The prawn toast was sweet, full of texture and served with a really lovely dipping sauce. It was great. The soup was thick and wholesome, lots of fresh chicken and corn. Another lovely dish. Then onto the mains. My favourites were the King Pawns served in a rich garlic sauce, crisp Honey Chicken with a sweet, sizzling sauce, Lemon Chicken that was melt in your mouth soft and so zesty and the Seafood Hot Pot with delicate fish, beautifully cooked squid and fat juicy king prawns. Service was great and very good prices. I’ll be back!
TakeawayGreat curry laksa with lots of interesting ingredients, char kwey teow big and also nice ingredients Had not been here in years and certainly no money been spent on dining roomStaff seemed pretty goid fir take away orderGlad i dropped by. Takeaway pricing seems a bit high
Service could be better. The seats had stains on them. The food was above average, didn’t use much MSG which was a positive compared to other Chinese restaurants
Dropping standards. Lee Palace is my favourite Chinese restaurant in the area but recently the food standard has declined! I have just bought Honey Chicken and Fried Rice – there is lots of honey and coating but little chicken which is unusual for lee palace and as for the fried rice its more like steamed rice with prawns in it.Last week: my chow mein was completely missing noodles. Please sort it out Lee Palace
