Once the best pasties ever . Now they have replaced the meat with with some filling agent – just like you get in cheap sausage rolls . So disappointing , lost me as a customer .
Recently noticed this place existed (only thought there was the one on south west hwy) Grabbed a cream and jam donut which was fresh and tasty. Came back a few days later and got the beef cheese pie for lunch, also pretty tasty
I am still struggling wildly with what about this bakery makes it feel Miami needs to be part of the name. That aside this is a perfectly adequate little bake house full of yummy treats littlegirlbigfood.blogspot.com
Creamy garlic pie – very rich was oh so yummy!! Coffee was okay. Sweets weren’t anything to rave about. Service was hmmm. Would order a pie only & take away if I was to go back.
Had the $6.20 beef and mushroom pie. Right temperature not too hot not too cold. Others may have preferred it scalding hot. I had time to write a review as newspapers are available for sale in the pie shop. It was quiet at 830 am Frid morning so I could enjoy some time for contemplation. There were rolls and other sweet delights. I stuck with the pies even though the cholesterol levels are busting above 6. There was a nice salty tang to the pie. Not so peppery. Beef filling was shredded meat and not chunky. I had done a 60 minute upper body workout before this so maybe get another pie. Maybe one of the gourmet ones for more then $7 for a protein hit.
Very ordinary for the price, service isn’t much better…I’ve given them a go a few times as they are close to my place and have been disappointed again and again.
What the?. $5 pie? Get lost. Won’t be back.
