New Owners! This place is my new local favorite; fresh, delicious food, lovely service and a small quaint restaurant. BYO. The chicken skewers, ramen and sushi are all delicious.
Tried Zao-san for the first time and ordered a teriyaki chicken Bento for $18.00 which is a little exxy. It came with rice, salad, vegie spring roll, edamame, crumbed prawn and a bite of korroke potato cake. The chicken thigh was rendered nicely, crisp skin and nice charred flavour. The sauce was okay but there was way too much of it. Would come back again.
