This cafe is a little gem, 120 km from Kalgoorlie. We stopped with a small school group on route to Lake Ballard. The service was excellent and food great. Try a Menzies Macchiato.
Good espresso coffee in a very small town. What’s not to like. Cakes disappointing though. Surprising that they are not home made.
Great place to stop over night . Light lunch, coffee and cake. Friendly lady and very knowledgeable . She also owns the local art gallery . Do yourselves a favour, stop over .
The coffee was strong and rich so worth a stop in. There was not much food left, sandwiches and cakes and I had a chocolate tart that was good. No interior seating – a few tables outside but no shade, except maybe in the morning.
What a lovely surprise, a well run well maintained coffee shop which is a wonderful stop between Kalgoorlie and Leonora. The staff are friendly, the coffee is great.
There wasn’t much cakes when I arrived today, but was happy with the coffee and had a chance to chat with the friendly staff.
The only place to stop in Menzies, small place with some outside seating complete with flies and wind. The pies were toured as being special but turned out to be average, the coffee was delicious as promised.
