absolutely revolting food served up served up by the stupidest old woman on earth !!! i ordered the 500gram sirloin and and instead got two x 250gram pieces of crap that certainly wasn’t sirloin and the kids fish and chips was that burnt it was barely recognisable.never ever again will we step foot in this place.
Sunday lunch pleasant suprise..roast beef and gravy roll $10 special! A $20 roll!! With crispy chip s and small salad definitely a bargain.
USED to be good. We have been regulars for many years at this tavern but recently its gone down hill, although its had a bit of a revamp the service is now poor, the friendly staff must have left because its now the same miserables ones that clearly don’t want your business and getting a drink is to much hassle for them. The food is not what it used to be and this chef has yet to get ours meals right. The desserts used to be amazing but now they are boring with minimal choice and none appetising. The playroom is rubbish now the pak man machine has gone, and not to mention tatty. my kids won’t even play in there. Sadly after years we will not be going back, there are other nicer cleaner venues around with great deals and service with a smile.
Absolutely brilliant, great value for money, excellent quality and service. Good for families. Leaves surrounding venues for dead
Lunch review – not great. Hadn’t been to this tavern for years & decided to give another try.Upon entering the lounge / restaurant area it’s very dimly lit with not that many tables. Management have obviously tried to re-vamp as best as possible, but still not great – need more light. The food varies a lot in price and the steaks are quite over priced ($24) considering the quality of beef. The chef cooked my steak perfectly however I had sauce all over my salad (nothing worse than hot, wilted lettuce!). My husband gave his parmi a 7/10 so not too bad. The waitress was very friendly and not much of a wait for lunch. The ladies bathroom still had the same dripping tap (from about 5 years ago) and really not very clean. Half the cubicles didn’t have toilet paper, the other half were dirty.Unfortunately won’t be back as it is a bit over priced for this type of tavern / pub.
Food is great an cheap, kid friendly, great service and very relaxed environment.
Dinner with hubby and kids.. Chicken Parmy and pint $18,awesome food and friendly staff.
