A Lady that used to own a fish n chip shop in the uk and is not easily impressed.. Hi to the new owner and staff .I had the Spanish Mackerel and chips a couple of weeks ago and I rate them as the best fish and chips I have had in a long time.There were 3 girls there and they all seemed to know what they were doing .I was especially impressed by the older of the 3 girls she was very efficient and did what I asked which was can you cook the chips a bit longer as I like them crunchy. Well done I will be back, tonight actually .I hope you have that amazing Spanish Mackerel. Regards Suzanne
Great fish ‘n chips. We very seldom have fish and chips so we were really hoping for a good meal. We had fish, chips, squid rings and prawn cutlets, all delicious – crispy, and cooked to perfection. We went because we saw it had had a change of ownership and they obviously deserve to do well.
Under new management since April 2015. Just letting everyone know that we are now under new management! The new owner has 17 years experience, operating in fish and chips since he moved over from Scotland as a young boy. So pop in and say hello and make the judgement for yourself !!! Great!. After hearing a range of different reviews I decided to try this place out last night and was pleasantly surprised to find I could get 2 fish and chips for $14!! Nicely cooked in perfect thin batter with friendly helpful staff – I have no complaints at all and am surprised to see so many bad reviews for this place. I will definitely be returning and you should too
Sogy undercooked fish & chips. They forgot to restock the dim sims & hadn’t defrosted the calamari but said it was my unlucky day! How about a potato cake or two chucked in for free to make up for it? Im thinking its his unlucky day = bad review & non a returning customer!
My partner and I thought we would try this place last night, having heard good and bad reviews. All I can say is, it was disgusting! The fish, chips and squid rings were all limp, soggy and undercooked. The oil tasted old and dirty. We asked for chicken salt and there was no salt at all on them. We were really disappointed. Won’t be back there again.
Forgettable. Undercooked fish and chips. Limp and greasy and the fish was not nice. No flavour. Needed more salt or something. And the mushy peas ? Oh yuck.
