Only gave it a try because it advertised as being Fijian Indian cuisine, but turned out there’s nothing special that makes it Fijian in particular, it’s just an Indian curry outlet. The parratha was not fresh, they were all wrapped in Al foil and kept warm on display. So they turn out to be rather hard, big disappointment. The curries are okay, with good portion size, but just a bit too salty for my taste. We liked the tomato chutney which was nicely spicy. The mango lassi was on the side of souring, which made us wonder if it was about to go off.

I always go around lunchtime, when the food has been freshly cooked so cannot comment on what it’s like in the evenings but i enjoy the food here.Good choice, decent value, nice flavours.
Butter Chicken and Beef Vindaloo. Too salty!14 Apr, 2015Curries were thick and not watery, but they were very salty. No intention to go back again.

Absolutely revolting. The worst Indian food I’ve ever tasted.. Went here with an ‘all you can eat’ voucher. Started with the beef vindaloo. It was mostly fat in a hot sauce. Hardly any meat. Next I went for the potato curry. It looked like ‘new born baby’ poo and had no flavour whatsoever. Bland wouldn’t cover it. Next was the butter chicken. At the very least there was a butter chicken flavour but it had no depth. Barely palatable. I’m pretty sure no Indian or Fijian has ever eaten here. If they have they, like me, will never ever return.
False advertising! Terrible food!. I purchased a voucher from ‘Our Deal’ for dinner for two, apparently to the value of $110.I also purchased another as a gift. I’m actually embarrassed. We arrived at the ‘restaurant’ which is a bainmarie at the front of a counter in the Coventry Markets. We were given a plate with a samosa and some kind of chutney in a bottle and told to sit wherever we liked (on the lovely green plastic chairs)The staff were nice, don’t get me wrong but the food in the bainmarie looked like it had been there all day and tasted the same way.The voucher was for all you can eat buffet and a drink. The only drink/s available were water or a can of soft drink… And Pepsi was the only option as that’s all they had stocked. My husband and I had a samosa for an entree which was ok. The mains was a variety of curries. Everything looked the same. Yellow and not appetising at all. The flavour was not there. Needless to say, neither of us went back for seconds. We were also give a paratha. It was old and dry. Nothing was fresh.Unfortunately I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff were nice but the food was definitely not $110 value, even based on their prices on the board. It was terrible food and falsely advertised on the voucher.
