I went to Bula for lunch and ordered the Vindaloo. What I received was nothing but fat, no meat whatsoever. I complained and they gave me some more Vindaloo, guess what, it was still all fat. The person behind the counter then blamed the butcher for the meat. I said it’s you that cuts the meat and it you that decides to serve that meat (fat). They fished around the Vindaloo for a 3rd time trying to find some meat to give to me and even after fishing around they the meat they gave me had one piece of meat and the rest was still fat. I will never eat there again. Take responsibility for what you serve.
Don’t eat here! Found a large piece of GLASS in a plate of food. Fine, accidents happen, but the attitude of the person we alerted was of a not care attitude. As we turned to leave without even receiving an apology, he yelled ‘you can have a replacement meal if you want’. NO, we didn’t want and will never go back there. Glass was reported to health department.
I am only basing this review on the Beef Vindaloo which I have purchased a few times. Very good value at $12 take away, tender spicy and a decent portion compared to a restaurant take away.
