The restaurant with the bright and eye catching LED billboard – really adds life to the Morley area. The interior decor was simple and typical of a Korean eatery – each table had it’s own hot plate to cook your food on, metal chopsticks, and so forth. I chose the chicken bibimbap – which came out piping hot and fresh. The wonderful mix of your traditional Korean vegies and a little extra salad complimented the well marinated chicken very well. I’m am still unsure as to why it was relatively quiet, but people searching for a place to eat in Morley should not overlook this place!
Food was good, like the ambience. I am a vegetarian so did not have much options. The broth was flavourful. Service was good. Enjoyed the dining experience.
Awesome little restaurant with genuine dishes like bibimbap, ice noodles, army soup and of course – Korean BBQ! Kimchi side dishes are free and super friendly service by staff. Great value dishes with generous portions – this place is straight out of Seoul!
We had the pork hock and potato soup which lacked flavour. The seafood soya bean soup was even worse….. with embarrassingly miniature frozen seafood pieces used. The woman who served us did not once crack a smile. First and last time here.
Came here on a Sunday evening and it was very, very quiet, so service was very efficient. Nice food. We had the Dolsot Bi Bim Bap (one with beef and one with baby octopus) and I liked how they came with sides which we didn’t realise at the time.
There’s been a management change, the menu has changed. They no longer list gamjatang under the casserole heading, it’s only listed as single serve ttukbaegi option. But since that’s what I want, I asked if I can still order it, and they said I can, but the price is now $38 for medium (previously $35). The taste is definitely gamjatang and we did have a great meal. But for $38, the portion is not generous, there’s probably only 6 of 5-cm pieces of pork in there, which I would think you would get with 2x ttukbaegi gamjatang for cheaper price. Other ingredients are potatoes and chinese cabbage. There’s no beansprouts, which are quite common in gamjatang. When the dish came, my first thought was it looked sparse. I would love to see either shungiku/ssukgat or beansprouts as garnishes on top of the stew. I recommend ordering 2x ramyeon sari for $2 (this item is off menu) to finish the dish, which I think really completed the meal.
Lunch time fun time, we were probably the first customers in this store for lunch, the waitress showed us to put table and we proceeded to go through the menu, they had quite a few selections especially for Korean BBQ, the service was quick, food came out fairly quickly as well and the food was…
