I had Kimchi Udon with my friends. That was the best Udon I’ve ever had.Katsu Chicken was Good as well. Enough sauce and crispy chicken.Good for light lunch.I’ll go again soon.
The food was ok but not the service. The sushi in the bento was super dry and everything was cold (even the rice!). I went with a friend and I ordered a teriyaki beef bento. I reconfirmed with her of my order. But she ended up giving me katsu chicken bento. She insisted that I ordered chicken but I reconfirmed with her and she said ok. She did not say sorry and have any intention to change it for me. I ended up paying again for the teriyaki beef bento and my friend took the wrong order as takeaway. Another problem is payment. I intended to pay card as $10is the minimum charge(the bento is $13). But then she said I can’t use card as the shop set the minimum amount to $20. I felt like that she does not know her shop well. Also don’t go there if you are in a hurry. Took my friend and I 30 -45 minute for our order (not including the time she cooked my right order). I am not sure why took her so long since everything in the bento was cold.
Usually i come here to enjoy their bimbibap. I walked into the shop and find out that they had a new owner. But i still ordered bimbibap and chicken katsu.hoping still has the same qualityBimbibap: egg-over cook;need extra sesame oil [*_*]Chicken katsu: the skin-crispy but certain part chewy hard to bite..
Both sushi places at coventry markets need a lesson in customer service. After being treated like crap at sushi master we came inside to try hello sushi instead. Tables are way too small! We had 3 kids, 2 adults and a baby. No highchairs available so baby had to sit in pram. The tables are small round ones initially for couples only? So we ended up pulling 2 together and sitting awkwardly around them.I ordered a teriyaki chicken bento box and asked for the sushi to be chicken aswell AND offered to pay the extra for it. The lady serving said they dont charge extra.Went and sat at the tables to wait and about 10mins later another staff member approached me and said i had to pay extra for the chicken sushi… I told her how i initially offered and was told i didnt have to but she didnt really care, so i had to go and give her $1.00!! Teriyaki chicken didnt taste at all like any ive had before and there was ZERO sauce with it. Was very dry. The salad was literally some lettuce and cucumber… And 1 sliced piece of carrot.. You get a spring roll with the bento box which was probably the only thing i did like…Wont be going back. Much better japanese out of coventry square markets.
Too much mayo on katsu chicken..making the rice sloggy:-(
Disgusting dry and yuck sushi
