Came here for lunch, the interior desperately needs renovating, everything looked old and dingy. There was a big clump of hair on the floor next to our table. I had the karrage chicken and it contained hardly any chicken at all and was very overcooked and tough to eat. I didn’t finish it, it wasn’t pleasant at all. I definitely wouldn’t come back here, you can get much better Japanese even at the cheap price. The only saving grace was that the staff were very friendly and nice.

Never been disappointed here! Saucy sushi just how I like it. It’s better to go during the peak times so that your getting the fresh stuff!!

I have been here many times because their sashimi rice is good (but sadly the only dish here that works). Service is so bad here. You ask for warm water, you will get boiling hot water. You ask for water refill, it doesn’t come. You only get water, spoons, if you ask for it. Staff are inattentive and takes too long to wave someone over. The bento boxes are average – some meat with rice and slices of orange and soggy wonton. Freshly ordered dishes with tempura or karaage comes out soggy. Of course any deep fried element on the sushi train has been sitting there for a while and is also soggy. I’ve given this place enough chances.

Good for a quickie meal. We had the sushi train and chicken katsudon. The sushi was average and Katsu was yummy. I’d go there for that again.

Itoshii has to be my favourite Japanese restaurant out in the burbs. The clean and crisp interior upon entering is an indication that this place is different to the rest, and the friendly staff that greet you adds to the great experience. The ordered main dishes come out hot and taste fresh, and the sushi train had interesting options and gave a much needed unique twist. All of this for a reasonable price makes Itoshii my go to and recommended restaurant.

New chefs have definitely spiced this place up with new additions to their sushi trains, the food has definitely gone up in options for their customers as well as tasty.

Friendly place and friendly staff. Good place for a good stop by for a quick meal. The food on the sushi train is always stocked but the down fall is that the food isn’t fresh. I have been there a few times and every time the food has gone cold in the train. The foods that you order (curry katsu for example) are all freshly made.. Although flavours are a bit hit and miss.
