I’ve visited here a few times. I like the curry laksa because it’s got some flavour and heat. Most places do a water down, but this is tasty and I don’t really eat laksa out. I recommend the char kaew teow.

I’ve had chicken rice from here twice now and neither time was very good. I asked for the thigh but the chicken was dry. Rice didn’t have much flavour to it either. Nothing spesh for a stall called Singapore Chicken Rice.

Good place for a local Singaporean / Malay fix, curry laksa and the meegoreng are probably the only decent dishses, prices are reasonable, they could renovate the place to help attract more customers, seating is a bit average….

I have used this food stall a number of times as the food is ok without being exceptional. Unfortunately I bought a take away Singapore Chicken Rice today and found a dead fly stuck to the chicken when I was half way through eating it. I would have rung them but they do not provide a phone number.

Our favourite local and reliable noodle house. Their chicken rice is probably the closest I’ve found to the one in actual Singapore or Malaysia, although it’s never quite the same. We often pick up weekend lunch here after shopping at Coventry village and it is always super quick, hot and good portions. I personally prefer a bit more meat and vege, but my husband is carb crazy so he digs this place. My favorite is the chicken noodle which you can get wet or dry. I like to ask for it dry and with the broth on the side. Good value for money.

Great gutsy lunches if you are out shopping for foodie products at Coventry markets. I usually stop for something to eat there when buying fresh seafood from Effies inside the markets. Genuine reminders of Singapore’ famous chicken rice served exactly the same way…..love it !!!

Finally I managed to drop by for a quick lunch. My verdict:Chicken Breast was overcooked. Too much soy sauceChili was blandat $11.50 I think tak chee is a better place for Chicken Rice.
