Genuinely could not fault!Food service and atmosphere is impeccable. Can not fault the restaurant one bit ! friendly staff paired with delicious curry made for a brilliant night, would recommend to everyone looking for a good curry, tried most of their menu and they are consistently excellent, but malai kofta, butter chicken & chilli chicken were exceptional and all time fav.I have to say , this is one of the best Dosa you can try ( and I’ve tried a lot of dosa !)Would recommend in particular……
How Not To Make A Curry – This Place Excels In This ArtThrow raw vegetables, paneer or meat etc into a pan, add copious amounts of water to quench the horrified diner’s thirst, oops now what do i do for colour? …loo and behold chuck some chilli powder and any other powder in and there you have it…a curry??. Raw vegetables floating or rather sunk in coloured water with raw chilli powder floating on it. What about other flavours and ingredients making it a curry? Meh….will add it another time…hahahaThe above recipe sums up the pathetic excuse of a curry which this joint makes. Jokes apart this place has dished out the worst curries i can think of in all my living memory. Trust me I have a long history of trying out Indian food all across the world and have a very high tolerance of even sub-par dishes. But i stand defeated in the face of the food this place dishes out. Be it the roti’s or the currys in this joint. A couple of rotis in this place equate to maybe half a roti in a normal indian restaurant!Bad or horrendous or inedible etc would be understatements for this sorry hovel of a joint. The only silver lining in this restaurant being….if you are looking to go on a crash diet, then make a beeline for this place. After a meal here…you will be permanently traumatized and put off Indian food for a long time. Maybe they should patent their recipes…so that no one attempts to make a worser dish!!Colored water ain’t curry!!
I ordered about 4 takeaway Currys to take home, the Goan fish curry was so delicious.The sauce is really tasty.I have put the other curries in the freezer for convenience but Im sure they will be all delicious.I will definitely have to return and have a dine in next time as their drink list is very reasonably priced and the wine is good choice.The owners are helpful and friendly.
