Located on the main strip in Mt Barker is this cafe and steak restaurant. We ordered a steak burger and chicken kebab, they were big servings with juicy meats. Both had lots of salad, fresh and tasty. Following a hike of Bluff Knoll, lunch at Happy Bull refueled our bellies.
This is without a doubt one of the best places we have ever eaten at in all of Western Australia. From the moment we entered, our group of 9 was blown away with the service and wow did they deliver what they promised. Wish we lived closer so we could experience this more often!
Our long blacks were superb, temperature hot and very strong. No sugar was needed and there was a lovely crema layer in the cup. The scone was served warm with a small side of cream and strawberry jam. I love smearing the spreads onto the scone and overloading it with cream. It was delicious.
