Came here with a friend for brunch. Service was ok, but a bit slow. My friend older the muesli and I opted for eggs on toast with bacon, but I was informed that they had run out of bacon – on Saturday really? My friends order came out first and then about 10-15 mins later mine arrived. It was ok/enjoyable, but pretty average.
The great thing about this place is the toys available outside for the kids. The bad thing is the lack of railings between the concrete area where the toys is and the grass area. So it is a potentially dangerous place to be for younger toddlers. They let us drag tables from inside the cafe out to where the toys were so we adults can have a chat whilst our little boy plays.Food and drink prices is average for perth. We had curried pie which we shared with our then 2 year old. Must say that particular food was a bit average. madeyoueat.website
Terrible terrible service at Carine!!! young girl on counter obviously hadn’t been trained properly but her supervisor/ peer on coffee machine should have assisted her if neededwhen asked what muffins I was rudely told to read the board Hot coffee was put in front of my son [who then proceeded to put him hand in it cos toddlers are super fast!] quiche came out cold?? then forgotten about when requested to be heated and then told they were closing in 10mins?!poor service, poor quality foodmaybe we got them on a bad day but we still wont return
Only had coffee and a freshly squeezed juice today from Carine shop. Coffee was well made enough for a shopping complex cafe. And it was nice to be able to tailor a juice mix similar to how Boost does it. Menu looks interesting but didn’t buy food on this occasion.
Such delicious pastries, but their breads are just gorgeous! While I haven’t had a hot meal here yet their breads in particular are stunning – the ciabatta is really soft and fluffy in the middle with a great crusty crunch. The tarts have a lovely crumbly base, and the fillings are fresh and they’re now at the new monthly Mt Lawley Farmer’s markets too. Can’t wait to try their cafe meals.
Bought their delicious bread at the Mt lawley Market so decided to try the cafe -Very disappointing-I had a Rhubarb and apple slice which was served on a saucer straight from the fridge with no cream available – was way too cold and tasteless. Coffee was Average …I think we will stick to only buying the delicious Bread
Dinner at Dejaxo, Carine. Very disappointing, very cold as both doors open. Waitress got the order wrong and meal was not good. No coffees available or soft drinks. After complaint made, was offered voucher for return visit. Very nice coffees and friendly, helpful staff during the day.
