If I believed in God, I would thank him/her for Khanna – the Indian restaurant that has replaced Divido on the Mt Hawthorn cafe strip. I love a good curry and the area has been lacking a consistently good curry house for as long as I have lived here (since 1979). Khanna is it. While others have a good dish or two, Khanna is great across the board. From the silky aloo palak to the tasty goat curry or the staple of any good Indian restaurant – lamb rogan josh. The tandoori lamb cutlets are the best I have had in years. The service was also wonderful, as they moved heaven and earth to accommodate our family. I really hope it thrives… though not so much that I can’t get a table. As for value, the alak paloo, lamb rogan josh, goat curry, two large steamed rice and a serve of garlic naan set us back $62. A solid 4.5 stars.
