Great for sharing, even though some options are far too tasty and youll try to keep them to yourself. Soft shell crab sushi being one of those. Quick, easy, friendly service. Not too noisy, not too quiet.
Tried sashimi lunch special for $20, was delicious, FRESHLY MADE (!) which is where Im constantly left disappointed. Lunch kit came with bowl of rice and miso soup. Everything was delicious. Oh, and they use REAL WASABI! A little expensive for what I got but wasnt left disappointed either. Service was pretty good. Authentic Japanese restaurant, areas to sit on the ground or at a table. Very clean, very spacious. Not sure how family friendly this place would be. Do your kids like sushi? Not much dedicated parking outside, only a few places and some labeled for nearby cafe and hardware store. Overall, a nice place for lunch. Pity its located in such a busy area though for finding/driving/parking.

We loved our lunch at Hanami. The food was light and delicate and exceptionally presented. The sashimi plentiful and great value in comparison with other restaurants. The karaage chicken was mind blowingly awesome, ticked all the boxes – the batter light and chicken perfectly cooked. Could hardly fault this experience , though waiters should do the food more justice service – not bad, just functional with no passion or quality checks.
