Bad service. Ordered thru delivery hero. Spent $77 on takeaway however the order didn’t get accepted by the restaurant within 5 mins so it cancelled. Delivery hero saw the problem and rang them to tell them the order was ok. They rang me and I told them I had paid and the order was ok and that I had emails showing I had paid. Despite that they wanted $77 cash! Rang again, asked will I get my order, they said yes it’s on it’s way… Rang again 20 mins later and told, no, order not coming… Delivery hero were great and they rang them again but clearly didn’t get far so they refunded my money… These guys made a problem with their system a customer problem which is the height of bad service. They then failed to fix the issue – in fact they refused to fix the system. Try another restaurant…
Having recently moved to the area we decided to give the local chinese a go. We placed an order for delivery through delivery hero and were pleased when it arrived so quickly. It very quickly went downhill from here though. They had forgotten to include the sweet and sour sauce with the order (mistakes happen – no problem), when we rang to tell them they said they would deliver it – great right? – not so much.. When I asked how long it would be because the food was quickly cooling down the young girl on the phone was being yelled at by the asian owners, she told me that they didn’t know when we would get it. When I then asked that they deliver fresh pork with the sauce she was again being yelled at by the owners and came back only to tell me that no, they wouldn’t be bringing fresh pork. It took almost 20minutes for the sauce to arrive by which time the pork had gone cold and so had the rice and chow mein – although they were able to be warmed up the pork couldn’t be. Such a shame, will not be going back.
So disappointed. This has to be the most blandest, tasteless Chinese ever.I would not go back and I would never recommend it. How at the time of writing this it had 76% is beyond me.

Disgusted. Ordered a home delivery was told my order needed to be over $40 for delivery so I happily added extra to our order. Was quoted $42 including delivery, double checked price. On arrival was told $42 plus delivery when I told the delivery boy the mistake he was very polite and apologetic and called the shop at which time the lady asked to speak to me. She immediately told me I hadn’t even made the order that she spoke to a man???? There are no men in my house. She then proceeded to call me a liar. I sent the food back and will NEVER order from them again. Very very rude, I feel sorry for her staff.
Ive been eating from Mullaloo Chinese (aka Ho Mei) for as long as I can remember and Ive never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and tasty, the servings are of substantial size and the dishes have a decent meat to sauce ratio, which is rare nowadays. The restaurant itself is looking a bit tired and out-dated therefore could do with an overhaul, but generally from what Ive observed most people order takeaway from here anyway.I recommend this restaurant and its inevitable that I will return. Standout Dishes: Sweet and Sour Pork, Chilli Squid, Lemon Chicken and Honey King Prawns.
