Went to the coast road brewery today for fathers day lunch with our extended family. The place was very busy and totally booked out! Our meals came out quickly and the staff were friendly even though they were under the pump! I had the roast beef roll ($22), the missus had the prawn twisters ($15) and the rest of the family had lasagne ($24) and lamb shanks. The meals were pretty good but you wouldnt say outstanding. My beef and gravy roll was machine sliced beef that you can buy in bulk from Harvey beef with copious amounts of gravy that went everywhere but was tasty all the same. The drinks arent cheap, a middy of beer and glass of champagne cost $17.50! It’s a nice day out sitting in the country surroundings but think its a bit expensive for what you actually get.

Would have loved to rate the food but could not. They need to update the website and let people know that they serve beer til 5pm but not food!
