Food was great, but service questionable?. Recently was in the area visiting a friend when I was in the mood for a lamington. Was a little upset to not find one , but I did enjoy a nice walnut brownie. Did find it odd that the bottom was layered with sugar though. Got it half price too due to the local happy hour between 2-3. Staff seemed annoyed and impatient with me even though I was the only on in line to be served and explained it was my first time in the store. Will happily give it another go.
Sweet Tooths’ Heaven. I often go here for a coffee and sweet treat..I have on the odd occasion been disappointed that the pastry or cake I ordered was not cooked on the day, however, overall it has been very pleasant.
Wow.. It is so nice to go to a cafe that serves such delicious coffee and treats and is so friendly at the same time. AND it is local! Loved my Prinz of Vienna experience, I will definitely be back!! The lemon tart was to die for and the chocolate croissant my mother tells me was beautiful. Coffee was delicious and delivered promptly despite only one staff member being in the store and the store being quite busy. Loved it!
Yummy cakes. I drive half an hour to get to Prinz of Vienna to buy their mini tarts. They are very nice especially when having guests over. I love the mini lemon tart. Everything we have has has been yum, even ham and salad roll one day for lunch when in the area. Can’t comment on the coffee as I don’t drink it. Service is the same as you get anywhere else. But yes some days the range is limited, myabe because it has already been sold out…..or ask, they may have just made some more out the back.
Prinz of Rudeness. I refuse to spend my money here anymore – despite living just a few doors down from this place. Poor service CONSTANTLY. The owner is so arrogant it’s simply breathtaking. I went in one day and ordered some muffins to pick up – my first mistake was thinking a BAKERY made muffins to sell to the public. Don’t worry, the owner corrected me here pretty quick and made it perfectly clear that IF he accepted my order, it was him doing me the favour!! Then I went for breakfast one morning and they refused to honour vouchers I had pre-purchased that stated CAN BE USED FOR ANYTHING. Most of their cake lines are not made fresh that day anyway. I have purchased many a cup cake to find them less than satisfactory. Rip off and I would rather go hungry.
