Gigs never start on time, so be prepared for a late night. It’s a great venue, though, and running late gives you a chance to pop next door for something to eat.
Unnecessarily aggressive. Rocked up on a Friday night for some drinks and some live musicvenue is nice and interesting albeit with not much around (flipside and harvest both notable exceptions). We spent at least 50 minutes there enjoying a drink and waiting for the support band to start up. At about 20 past 8 close to when the band looked like they were ready a extremely aggressive lady who worked there came up to us and demanded that we pay 15 dollars each or leave. We tried to explain her that we had been here earlier then 8pm the time that you had to pay past as stated on the signs at the door however we were told that she didnt care. What was starting out as a really nice casual bar was quickly spoilt by such an impolite staff member. I would have happily paid on entry if they asked us as we went in but the fact that we had been in there for close to an hour, had purchased drinks etc and her extremely rude attitude forced us away.
