Great coffee and really delicious bagels. I amgenerally disappointed in take away coffees in Perth but this place nails it. Coffee is delicious and they have good baristas as well.
Nice coffee, which is no surprise given it’s their focus. Food was on par with the average caf – neither better nor worse, neither more interesting nor devoid of choice. But what a shame they have ceased offering table service (or perhaps are just running a trial of order-at-the-counter). I’ll go back if they bring back table service.
Just been here for breaky this am. Impressed with fitout. Staff great. But coffee was so bad. Whoever said coffee was good here. Please. …….. it was just about stone cold and tasted like it had been made with soy milk. I had trouble swallowing that first mouthful. Just left it on table. Paid and left went down to sayer sisters to order breaky. At least u know food and coffee is good.
Great little cafe, with a nice atmosphere. Music is easy listening, and isn’t too over powering, allowing you to have a good conversation.Staff are extremely friendly, stopping to have a conversation with me on several occasions. I was even offered coffee options to try that I hadn’t had before.Food was excellent, and considering the suburb, the prices are good. They stock gluten free bread and are able to offer several alternatives in products that aren’t gluten free in order to make them so.I love this little cafe and will continue to come here with a book to read my weekend mornings away.Chris, the owner should be proud of what he’s achieved here.
I live in North Perth and can’t believe I’ve never been here until today. The coffee is delicious – my flat white had great flavour, was beautifully creamy, and the perfect temperature. Will definitely be back.
Okay so as the place’s title suggests, the coffee is pretty good here. The service is a bit hit and miss, but on a normal bout I would forgive it. Unfortunately, the advertised ‘avocado smash’ at the time was a painful mistake – egg was barely poached so it was everywhere, ‘chorizo’ was dry and hard, and the bread I’m pretty sure was a store-bought sourdough from across the road… Overall, just get coffee and maybe don’t get the avocado smash. For the coffee, I’ll give it another try in the future.
This was as bad as it gets. Lucky to get rating if 1.Long wait for coffee. One coffee was so bad had to be replaced. Another coffee was cold. Coffee was bitter. Time to wait for food was long. Pork hock was average and overpriced. Slow cooked eggs were appalling. Sloppy and un eatable. The waiter said they were Chinese style cooked at 68 deg. The menu didn’t say that. Overall overpriced for poor quality of food.
