Amazing, authentic, tasty food – the best Indian in Perth. This is our favourite local by far and we’ve introduced so many family and friends who go back all the time. Every dish is delicious – the beef vindaloo, goan fish curry, eggplant + potato, just to name a few. Staff are very friendly, and our order always arrives quickly. Love Bollywood Spices!
Without a doubt, one of the nicest indian restaurants in Perth. The curries are fantastic. Beautifully cooked, bold with flavour, yet you can taste the individual spices. The chicken tikka masala was a standout as well as the crisp, yet fluffy naans.
Good food, served well. Is it the best Indian restaurant in Perth? Probably not! The entrees were delicious…seekh kabab – spicy and moist, chicken kabab tender and full of flavour. The curries were good, though not cooked with the same love as the entrees. Goat was tough and stringy, probably not the best quality meat used.Breads were fresh and very tasty – our favourite was the stuffed Kulcha.
What a great little restaurant. Casual atmosphere, friendly service and amazing food. A huge menu for such a small place and everything I ate was perfect. We shared the Bollywood share platter and then a vegetable korma with garlic naan and I could not fault anything. As an added bonus, the host accidentally overcharged us for the meal but we did not question it. 5 minutes later he had run out of the restaurant and brought us the correct change with an apology. How sweet!
Tiny place but packs a punch all the same. Great food. We had a kofta and a South Indian fish curry and both were great. You can see the staff working furiously in the kitchen and the bread chef earns his money! The naan was very good. I don’t fancy your chances of getting a table on a Saturday, but I’ll be coming back for takeaway very soon.
Best Indian by so far in Perth…!!! Quality meats – flavours – service & price. Don’t bother with anywhere else if you want quality… nice to see crap like Go Go’s get shown up after all the fuss that used to get made of that place all because it had some international sports stars visit. Bollywood all the way ..!!!
Yep, I can see what all the fuss is about. Good food. Good service. Good price. Tuesday night, date night but it wasn’t a fancy venue. Lucky we’re not fancy either. But it was clean and comfortable (Although avoid the drafty table just inside the door). The place didn’t look be but looks can be deceiving. The take away and home deliveries were going out the door rapidly. Despite this we were served quickly and by a friendly staff member. We ordered the mixed entree for two – comes on a sizzling plate!!! – the beef and potato curry, the malai kofta, rice, naan and chutney. Not one thing was wrong with our dinner. The flavours were good (if a little mild in the mains), the food was obviously fresh and the chutney was delicious. We sent our compliments to the cook – I hope they were received.www.thesoloavocado.com
