This place has consistently great food. Hidden away in a residential area, it is a quiet and charming place to eat. My go to dish is the Pad Thai, not too spicy and a nice balance of flavours . The BBQ Pork Sticks were a great starter, tender and flavoursome. The Thai Red Curry was perfectly spicy, on the milder side but well balanced. Stir Fried Kailan with Crispy Pork Belly was also spicy, and the pork was crispy. Word of warning, if it says spicy on the menu it means SPICY. Super delicious food, worth it if you can handle the heat 🙂
Best Thai restaurant in Perth! If you want the closest to authentic Thai food, this is the place to be! The spiciness is real and the taste is just as genuine. (Beware! Most items in the menu are spicy!) But if you’re not into spicy, their Pad Thai is also hands down the best i have tried anywhere in Perth.
I recently had a Thai feast at Long Lau in Mount Lawely and was very impressed with the food. Very delicious Thai food and great service. Long Lau’s flavor has influences from both North and southern Thailand. Great location right near Hyde park. Great for a walk afterwards. I’m trying to think when can I go back again 🙂
First time to Long Lae and will definitely return. Tucked away in the neighbourhood not far from Hyde Park, this Thai restaurant serves up traditional Thai food and for cheap too! Service was fast and great.We ordered the crispy fried mussel pancake, red duck curry, pork larb, steam rice and two drinks for $62. I loved the crispy pancake. Red duck curry was nice but not the best rendition I’ve had. We ordered the larb at medium spicy and it still had a good kick to it! Yum!
It is a pretty good Thai place. The price was reasonable, the portion was okay, and the taste was wonderful. Be careful with the spiciness level though! When you say medium hot, it’s not your typical medium! If you can’t handle spiciness, better go with mild.The pad thai is probably the best pad thai in Perth.Som tum was okay, I’ve had better one. I couldn’t feel the acidity and the heat and the freshness.The catfish was really unique. But, it is so SPICY! becareful when you order this!What this place (and few other Thai restaurant around Perth) lacks is the variety of the dishes. Yes we all know Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Curry, basil stir fry. But what about my favourite Tom Zab? and other awesome street food?While i think this place serves the best Pad Thai, I will probably go to S&T instead as it is more accessible. Also they have more varieties in the menu.
Ordered sticky rice, som tum and pork skewers- absolutely delicious! If you can’t eat spicy tell them no chilli because I asked for little spicy and it was very hot. Partner had beef noodles said it was yum. Will be back to try the other dishes!
I came here with my boyfriend yesterday, the food was so good !!!!!!and for me their tom yum soup is the best one around Perth now:p Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!if u love Thai food u hv to go n try!!!!!!!! U ll love it
