This is a really great spin on what a cafe should be. Id recommend this place to anyone seeking something other cafes dont offer! French toast is wow, cheeseburger with a difference, Gumbo…. and much more. They also serve great drinks with or without alcohol. Reasonably priced.
My husband, toddler and I came here for the first time for breakfast. The mushrooms were *amazing*, the scrambled eggs fine and the coffee terrific. My only complaint was that it didn’t feel super kid-friendly. They have highchairs so kids are obviously welcome and not everywhere has to be kid-friendly, of course, but my husband and I both got a faint vibe that kids were tolerated at best (this may have been our paranoia speaking or the vibe from other customers on the day). There were lots of things on the menu that looks really tempting and the ambience of the place is lovely so I’ll definitely still be back.
