Very tiny servings of poor quality food. I’m still here as I type this write up so utterly disappointed and baffled am I that anyone has ever had anything good to say about this place other than it’s cheap.We ordered Pad Thai chicken it was a kids serving at best and so sweet it would be barely edible but there was so little to it this wasn’t hard and his hunger got the better of him.Another ordered Green Thai Curry that appeared as soup with barely any chicken and oh my god are those catering purchased serated carrots in there yep a couple.I ordered Massamam Chicken Curry sadly this was soup as well with same carrots and a few sad undercooked potatoes too all served with a tiny cup of rice. None of this enough to soak up the soup which was supposed to be a curry.So poor I’m astonished Yods is still in business.Do yourselves a favour pay a few bucks more and go to Full Moon Thai on Beaufort St round the corner……
Brilliant food, very friendly people. Best kept secret in Perth!!. The food at Yods is first class. This is a very friendly, small family run restaurant with service to match. Expect to pay at least double for similar authentic food elsewhere. I spent a couple of weeks in Phuket over New Year this year and was so disappointed with the cuisine on offer. The place (Patong Beach) was so busy, it was like nobody in the restaurants cared or bothered. Found a few out of the way gems, but honestly, should have stayed in Perth and spent my money at Yods!! Amazingly, the owners are Thai, which is becoming increasingly rare in Perth.
Very lovely Thai restaurant with sofa in it, feel relaxed with the atmosphere watching footy, good Thai food and even greater service.
Best Thai in Perth. Definitely the most authentic and reasonably priced Thai in Perth. Always delectable and served with a smile. Average time takes is about 15-20min for the food but it’s worth the wait. Come here all the time!
I’ve been there so many time.. The food are always fantastic and the Pad Thai is wonderful, it’s really Thai test .. Love it anyway..!! 🙂
Non authentic Thai food.. The pad thai was too sweet, like they threw in half a bottle of tomato sauce.There was also a lot of msg in my tom yum soup.
