Japanese food…simple, light and delicious. Every bite we had was fabulous… from the soft shell crab entree (yummm) to the pork dumplings (a must!!)…to the hearty mains …and the GORGEOUS desserts of japanese cheesecake, green tea ice cream and sesame ice cream. Super happy belly.I love the host here… she gave me a great deal (private msg her on facebk page for a deal), excellent conversation and quick service. This place is great and perfect for group catchups!

We had a voucher. Had 2 entrees, Goyza, and softshell crab. Really nice. Main we have terriyaki beef and chicken bento. The beef one was really yummy. We had black sesame icecream which was yummy too. Very good value with the voucher. Would recommend.

Reading reviews we were a bit hesitant however purchased a coupon. So very glad we did. We had the chicken satay sticks for entree and then the Sweet and Sour Fish and Chicken Katsu Curry. Finished off with Japanese Cheesecake. All the food was so very good and fresh and light. So flavorsome. Staff were very friendly and food came out quite quickly. We will definitely go back even with out voucher.

Food poisoning. Ended up in hospital after specific cooking instructions. Extremely disappointed. Hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. Allergy notes were added to order and clearly ignored.

We went last night on a coupon, cost $39 for two. The atmosphere and decor is not great, but the food and service was great. We had a glass of wine each, shared entree of Potato Croquettes, then main courses of Deluxe Bento set with Tofu (with rice and miso soup), Beef in Butter Pepper Sauce (with rice), then desserts of Black Sesame Ice Cream and Chocolate Mud cake. All this for $39! The portions were quite generous and delicious. Really good value I thought.

A really lovely little spot – a pity about the terrible location and the vacant feeling hotel which wasn’t terribly inviting but the staff were really welcoming. I came on a voucher and was very pleasantly surprised – the food was very authentic and well made although this means it won’t suit everyone’s taste especially if you’re accustomed to Westernised Japanese. We had edamame, miso soup, teriyaki tofu, a chicken katsu burger and a beef yaki udon. Edamamde was generous and the miso soup was probably the tastiest I have had anywhere, the stock was lovely. The tofu was crispy and delicious, the burger was huge, juicy and perfectly cooked with very fresh salad and lots of beer battered fries. The yaki udon wasn’t to my taste but the sauce was a good balance of salty and sweet and an authentic flavour with perfectly al dente noodles and tender beef. Our black sesame ice cream was delicious and service was very friendly and helpful, not at all pushy or weird and she talked me through when I couldn’t decide. I really liked it here and will be back to try other dishes.I got chatting to the owner Christine and she is also supporting a poor girl with a devastating illness by fundraising – you can ask for the Annabelle special and only pay $25 for a 3 course meal with wine! 50% of proceeds go to the girl but I challenge you to find a better deal. The details are on their Facebook page. Makes me like them even more 🙂

Ordered 1903 on uber eats and have had it in the past with no problems – prawn dumplings and gyoza were nice however the beef donburi was inedible I had one bite of the beef and threw all of it in the bin. It had a rubbery plastic look and taste to it – not like any beef I’ve seen before ! Disappointing
