The coconut pork skewers are the stars here. I would come back for them alone. I also had the tom yum which was super spicy, but tasty at the same time. Decent sized serve and good value.

I asked for a spicy Vegetarian Pad Thai and they really did. They used extremely hot chilli flake to cook and we’re all sweating! Pad Thai tasted good but missing something (sweetness). Keen to try their skewers next time.

I’ve been eyeing off the pork belly salad at every festival where I’ve seen these guys. Totally worth the wait… it was DELICIOUS. Crisp, crunchy salad; zesty, well balanced dressing (I almost drank the leftovers!!) with a generous portion of crisp and tender pork belly. Service was quick and I absolutely loved this salad. I think the skewers were a bit of a longer wait though. This is one of the better food vans on the Perth food truck front. Yum!! lifelovetravelfood.wordpress.com

We ordered a Pad Thai and coconut pork skewers at the Cider and Pork festival, we had eaten from them previously though it was a while ago. The pork skewers were cold, like actual cold. The pad Thai was good but not really hot enough temperature wise, they were very nice when we took the skewers back, I think they were all cold because they were about to pack up. They refunded the money and gave us a free Pad Thai. #goodfoodofperth

Twilight Hawkers Market stall Perth CBD.1739 hrs.If there’s one thing I cannot stand it’s a disappointing meal. I regret to report that this was exactly that. Woeful pork crackling salad. Limp salad bits, no crispness to pork and little trace of any actual crackling. Shame coz this joint seems to do a roaring trade & the photos of said salad promised heaven. I can’t be bothered going back but the take-away for prospective diners is don’t trust the pics & lower your expectations. I have no photo coz I binned it. FYI to BJS – crackling must be salty and crisp, salad part must look & taste fresh. These are non-negotiable minimums for any ‘pork crackling salad’.

Beaufort St Festival 2015. The temperature peaked at 39.4Pork crackling salad. I like the idea more than the actual dish. The token greens are unflavoured, it seems a lost opportunity, the meal would be better with some acid and bite. One the plus side, the pork is teasingly good, giving some heat and crunch. wino-sapien.blogspot.com

My favorite. I have tried everything they offer, from the original Coconut Pork Skewers, Pad Thai and the Crackling Pork Salad to the newer items like the Squid on Flame, the Thai Herb infused Ribs, and the Tango Crispy Fish. I absolutely love all the items they sell. The skewers melt in your mouth, they are that tender. The mains like the Pork salad, the Squid on Flame and the Tango Fish all come with their own unique dressings, and if I was you, I would request extra, the dressings are perfect for each dish. The ribs are a little plain, come with nothing, would like to see a spicy sauce on the side maybe, but they are amazing, love the lemon grass infused into them. Last but not least, the Pad Thai. Hands down, I have never had Pad Thai as good as this shops serves, it is perfect. I get none of that tomato sauce taste in this dish, don’t think they use it. I am willing to bet that Pad Thai is supposed to taste exactly like this, they obviously take their time for their authentic flavours. Huge fan, will always be there for them.
