Needed coffee in the morning so we went here. I love the cups that they serve the latte in because its really cute. My partner lliked the coffee, stating that the coffee bean’s flavour was good.
Loved every bit of my chai soy latte! Worth every cent of its slightly exxy price tag. This place does get busy with the suits so be prepared to wait but the staff are efficient so it shouldn’t be too outrageously long before your coffee comes out blogsbygabrielle.blogspot.com
Exceptional soy chai latte ($4.90). And everyone else was happy with their coffee. The rest of the experience was pretty average. Two of us got the omelette and agreed that it was extremely bland. The bread was impossible to eat! Couldn’t cut it with a knife and even softened with extra butter it was extremely chewy. Apparently the corned beef and chilli eggs are new on the menu. Two of us ordered it but unfortunately they only had one left so I conceded and went for the omelette ($17) plus haloumi ($4). I missed out as feedback was good. For some reason this place strikes me as somewhere you are personally served water but it is self service. Not sure if it’s recently become acceptable to clear finished plates before everyone has finished eating but it happens here. Another plus is they accept split billing. Doesn’t make up for them not accepting eftpos below $10, a huge peeve of mine and why this is the first time I’ve been here. And possibly the last. For anyone looking for dessert for breakfast, they don’t have anything like French toast or pancakes but a lot of sweet stuff on display. The fig muffin was unremarkable ($4.50).
We are regulars here. They have a large menu that caters from burgers to pastas and everything in between for lunch. The breakfast options are also good and the food takes a reasonable time to arrive. The coffee is average.
Even after all the new competition in Perth, this place still turns away customers who want to pay using card for purchases under $10 – yes they turn away customers that are willing to pay $9.50! Bring on the competition – plenty of other places that offer same food and better service.
Reservations can be made at this place for lunch. Had a very nice steak. Only downside was the day I went was windy and it blew all the leaves into the restaurant. The waitress I felt should not have used napkins to pick up things like hair, leaves etc. somehow it was a big turn off for me. Feeling disgusted as well.All fairness service was good. The steak was very yummy.
Dropped on for a coffee at this trendy attractive coffee caf in Brookfield Place. Smooth creamy taste in a pretty blue cup. Right temperature and subtle bitterness. Basilica also do a good line of lunches and breakfasts…sandwiches panini burgers and more substantial meals such as pasta fish pork belly and risotto. Well situated and seems to be very popular in a very competitive area. perthcafeculture.com.au
