How has this place not shut down yet? Came here sometimes and often go past it. Food is hit and miss. Putting it out there, usually a miss when the woman (presumably the owner), cooks. Lately it has been more a miss, verging on suspicious (discussing with friends that come here too, some have gotten food poisoning before). Over priced considering. The place is generally dirty. The woman is extremely rude. I’ve also seen her treat a few customers pretty badly. She seems to micromanage the staff a bit, treats them pretty bad. I feel sorry for them. Hope she’s paying them well considering the treatment that they get.

I went here for lunch and ordered a chicken Caesar salad and an apricot slice. The food was delicious. The flavour of mayo blends perfectly with the well cooked chicken, crunchy croutons and lettuce. The apricot slice was pleasant, not too sweet. Although it’s on the pricy side, the quantity you get is huge! I could not finish everything and had to ask for a take away container. One of the let downs would be the seats, they aren’t really comfortable, which is understandable as it tends to get quite busy during lunch so not ideal for customers to stay for too long. But overall I had a pleasant meal.
Worst breakfast i have had anywhere…ever. Poached eggs were hard and rubbery, toast looked and tasted like a $1 Coles loaf, hash browns were completely overcooked and soaking in cold oil, coffee was foul. What a waste of $25, i would have been better off going for a greasy Maccas meal.
Never again. The service from the woman at the till was less than helpful;apparently dividing a meal onto two plates for two small boys is an impossible request. My iced coffee was so sweet and milky, I could barely detect the taste of coffee. The lasagna was mainlybchamel sauce- the meat layers were minimal. My Mother’s order was messed up; the staff brought out a more expensive item on the menu, and we had to chase upthe refund later for the much cheaper menu item she had ordered. AND although my bill came to $45, they charged me a fee just for the privilege of swiping my MasterCard!
Really great food and fantastic service last time i came to this restaurant.By the way, the tea and coffee is also terrific!Will come back again!
I had a COCKROACH in my mouth! I was scooping the froth of the coffee into my mouth and i tasted a salty lump, and pulled it out of my mouth. Once it come out, I saw legs, and wings, and there it was a cockroach. I talked to the staff who made it, she apologized as she used the chocolate powder that has been left open for quite a while. Thanks to this cafe, i know now how a cockroach taste like. Truly regret I didn’t have the chance to take a picture of it, i sent it back straight away as i was really really disgusted!
