It gets rave reviews and I was totes looking forward to it but alas I was disappointed. Granted it was thru an uber-eats delivery so Im not fussed about presentation but I would have expected the food to hold up better. Dolmades leaves had thick stringy veins in them impossible to chew through, pork belly was dry & skin oddly rubbery instead of crispy. Flavour just not there & overpriced to boot. I thght the loukoumades would surely save the day coz doughnuts right, but NO. First of all if you put them in airtight container they get soggy. I asked for traditional honey instead of choc sauce but none provided and very stingy on the crushed pistachios. Flavour was passable. Will try again in person to be sure or maybe they had an off night but I am totally underwhelmed.
I belong to a dinner group, we are a group of 8 people that went to the Brika. The waitress remembered our order without writing it down, we were impressed as we ordered food and drinks.4 people in our group have individual food and they didn’t share. As for the other 4 people inclusive of me, this is what we ordered as below:Brika sourdough southern Peloponnese EVOOSaganaki kefalograviera pan-fried cheese, honey ouzo, oregano, lemonMussels kleftiko white wine, rosemary, leek, heirloom tomatoesCypriot salad freekeh, pulses, currants, coriander, beetroot chipSlow roasted lamb lemon, tzatziki, thymeBBQ Fremantle octopus roast chat potato, fried capers, thyme, sundried tomatoKataifi ekmek custard, lavender syrup, strawberries, pasteli crumb, pistachioBrika is good for groups of people who would like to try different food and share. It’s the healthy type of food that I preferred. I will return to try other items on the menu.
Ive ordered from their little window shop Filos and Yiros and really enjoyed it so was keen to have a proper sit down meal. Friend and I ordered a few plates to share and although they all tasted pretty good, we couldnt justify the price we paid for the size of the meals we received. Ambience and service were lovely though. 2.5 stars
Goodness me!! The chefs menu is insane!!! So. Much. Food. All good! Four courses of absolute delight! Not the best location right next to Maccas.
We went here for lunch last weekend and were totally blown away! The food was amazing!! We ordered the chefs selection and it was awesome. So much food and everything was so tasty. The lamb was my favorite. It was served on the bone and was so incredibly tender and delicious. The restaurant is in a nice, quiet location and the decor makes you feel like youre in a little Greek village. It was a lovely experience and well definitely be back
