22 minutes for a juice?. The place was not busy at all. 22 minutes to get me an on menu juice when there are hardly any customers is pretty poor. My GF had her coffee and croissant finished way before mine even came out. Average quality food and slow service. Avoid it if you can.

Warm coffee. Had early lunch when they weren’t busy. Peri peri chicken on foccacia was plain chicken with a tiny amount of what tasted like mayo and sweet chilli sauce. Cappucino was only warm, not hot. A miss on both counts.

Great little shop, the staff remembered us from the first time we visited and were very sociable. Great coffee and I would recommend it!

Gobsmacked….. I just sat in Buddah for over 15 minutes waiting for a juice… the place wasn’t so busy that wait should have been that long. It was a green cold pressed juice… I had to get back to the office and was already starting to run late and I thought that after 15 minutes it was reasonable to enquire about where my order was or if it had maybe been forgotten about it… I asked politely how far way my juice was and the Irish guy at the front (who is always polite) went to the back to see where it was at, I think there was some confusion but he said it wasn’t ready and asked would I like my money back… I said yes, as I had to leave and it had already been a 15 minute wait. Just as this was being said the Asian girl making the juice put her head around the corner and said it was ready with an unbelievably sour look on her face. The juice was bought over to me by one of the other staff and this Asian girl just stood there glaring at me – I actually couldn’t believe it was happening… like, full on, death stare… It was like something from a movie. I said to the Irish guy at the front desk it was all good but I couldn’t understand why this girl had an attitude with me. He apologized and I left as I was in a rush.. WEIRDO… not going back.

Never again. Made the mistake of stopping here for a coffee. The staff were all too busy texting on their phones to notice me. Once they took my order they continued on with their personal conversations. When my coffee was made it wasn’t placed on the bench without so much as a smile or eye contact. As for the coffee; sweltering hot with bubbly milk, and the shots were definitely running too fast!Next time I’ll be sure to detour around this place

Not so enlightening.. It’s difficult, sometimes, being a fledgling, up-and-coming coffee reviewer in Perth’s CBD. The abundance of choices within close proximity of each other renders competition to attract the precious hard-earned dollars of caffiene-addicted workers, shoppers and coffee-snobs heated. With a hefty name, a sturdy reputation and girthy presence in Allendale square, Buddha Espresso was in the reviewer’s crosshairs today to see whether they could enter the upper-echelon of double-espresso creators in Perth.Somewhat ironically, the double espresso this reviewer consumed left me somewhat ‘unenlightened’ and relatively ‘unawakened’. Uninspiring, weak and bland wouldn’t be an unfair assessment of either Shane Watson’s performance at the top of the Australian batting order, or this coffee. Even after referral to the third umpire, the Danny Review System upheld the reviewers initial decision. If Buddha Espresso was vying for a position in Perth CBDs Top X1, they’d be in for a rude shock as they are going to have to work their way back through the Sunday amateurs.11 disgruntled and cantankerous Boof-Lehmann’s out of a possible 20. I’m all out of faith, this is how I feel. I’m cold and I’m ashamed, lying naked on the floor.

Great Coffee and Service. Everyone you have to try this place. I have been a few times; and it has just got better. The staff are now great, with a couple of not so friendly staff recently left the business. Seems they have released the staff who never had the passion!!Great coffee, Quick food in a lovely environment. They have 2 shops in the CBD one being a lounge and one and espresso bar. I spoke to the manager a lovely female who said they have had changes and up and coming a liquor license. How cool, nights with thin crust pizza, beer wine with coffee during the day.
