Scoopon deal: $49 3 courses for 2 with wine, using Yumtable to book.. no probs. The food was surprisingly good. We ordered rump steak with roast potatoes and pork belly with mash.. Desserts were amazing. About the tummy ache as a previous reviewer…? Until now we feel ok. We will inform you if we’re unwell tomorrow lol.
4 of us went 2 weeks ago with a voucherand we didn’t mind the food, nothing special. The next day my partner was vomiting and I had stomach cramps and slight runs. Found out a few days later from the couple that came with us that one of them had the runs too. Contacted the restaurant to cancel a future booking with them and didn’t even get an apology after telling them what had happened. To be honest, they didn’t sound one bit concerned. EXTREMELY poor form as food poisoning should be taken very seriously. Got my refund from a second voucher, will never ever EVER go back.
We went today and used a Scoopon. What a good surprise! Service and food were excellent. We had bruschetta, pork belly, stake, and the desserts were delicious (specially the sticky date pudding). I totally recommend it!
Great 3 course meal. Scallops and steak cooked to perfection, although lamb cutlets are a tad over cooked, it’s full of flavours. Devine desserts and hubby reckons sticky date pudding with caramel sauce is not sickly sweet which he loves.
Excellent food and excellent service 🙂 Reasonable parking about and good portions (something that a few other restaurants could learn a thing or two about) ! Perfect for date nights…nice wine list!
Great experience with Chime! Used a voucher for three course meal. Staff were very friendly taking my booking, and more than accomodating when I changed my booking from six people to four. Food was great, service was friendly and fast. Portions were decent. Very limited dessert option, but overall an excellent experience. Will dine with Chime again 🙂
